Backstretch of Assiniboia Downs

Due to Centre Port construction access is available by Racetrack road, off of Portage Avenue (1/4 mile west of Hwy 100/101 and Hwy 1 – Portage Avenue). Turn north on RaceTrack Road, following the signs for the barn area, behind the grandstand and continue on the road all the way down to Saskatchewan Ave. (which is where this road Dead Ends) Turn east (right) for 1/4 mile and enter the backstretch by turning right onto the grounds.

If you are in Winnipeg you can take Saskatchewan Avenue west from the city until you reach the backstretch of ASD. Then turn left into the backstretch. Proceed through the security gate. The HBPA office, Race Office, Track Kitchen and Racing Commission are located in the first building on the left side of the road (ask at security).
